Dear Vevo, Let me start by saying get your corporate asses off YouTube! Ever since these big companies started paying off YouTube so they could post their freaking videos we can’t post ours. We are flagged for infringement evry time we include a song we like in our videos.
This is YOUtube, the place where we can post OUR videos. If we wanted to listen to music from you wed go to your damn website.

A quick update almost 15 years later
A lot of time we wrote about youtube, now there’s little or no competence in their field but as in many Internet services we face a crucial moment where the paradigm of free content in exchange of personal data use and abuse is unclear.
We have been very critical and reluctant to have any presence in social media and now some people is thinking about going back to self hosted more creator and user friendly solutions.
If youtube thinks that a lot of people will be eager to pay for youtube premium they’re probably wrong because it’s quite difficult to find content with que quality, consistency and if i pay i want to own the rights of my copy as with my DVD and CD.
Does anyone remember how Microsoft tried to promote low end versions of their software for emerging markets? More hate and more piracy.
