This is me walking with father bunny near Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

Despite a rocky start, we had a very enjoyable time in Amsterdam

This trip to Amsterdam was our first visit to the city, and we were excited to see Mother Bunny who was working there.

Father Bunny brought me along with him to his office because our flight was scheduled for 3 pm. I got to meet his colleagues, who were friendly and welcoming to me.

Cheap transportation to the airport

We decided to take the train to the airport instead of a taxi, as Father Bunny always stresses the importance of conserving resources, though Mother Bunny jokes that he’s just cheap. It was a crowded journey, as many people were also traveling to the airport.

Overbooking, late flight and we are paid some money

Unfortunately, we missed our flight, and Father Bunny was very upset. He said something about the flight being overbooked, but I didn’t quite understand. However, the airline staff were very kind and understanding. The supervisor offered us another flight and even gave us €250 to buy gifts and souvenirs. Father Bunny was delighted with the compensation and promised that we would take a taxi once we arrived late in Schiphol.

Making friends on board

Thankfully, the plane wasn’t full, so I got to have my own seat next to a girl who couldn’t take her eyes off me and Father Bunny.

“Maybe she’s not used to sharing seats with such a charming little bunny,” said Father Bunny with a chuckle. Despite the mishap with our flight, the rest of our trip was a wonderful experience.
